I love Haribo Roulette. I really do. the way it stretches but never breaks, the way its so chewy.... its different fruit flavors that actually taste like the fruit and not just like sugar, the clear wrapper with the big white words, red rims and that yellow bear bear.. the way I like to dig and choose until I find the one with as little white gummies as possible, the way I finish one roll in less than 5 minutes..... only to want one more.......
Haribo, wo ai ni!!!!!

Psalm 103
Of David.
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits-
3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever;
10 He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him;
12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him;
14 for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear Him, and His righteousness with their children's children-
18 with those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts.
19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the LORD, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His bidding, who obey His word.
21 Praise the LORD, all His heavenly hosts, you His servants who do His will.
22 Praise the LORD, all His works everywhere in His dominion. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

Massacre @ SMU
We interrupt this program to bring you groundbreaking news!
A bloody massacre occured today at Singapore Management University's School of Economics at approximately 10.05 am. The bloodbath lasted for 85 minutes. It all began when a certain Professor A. declared war on the students of ECON107 Applied Econometrics by issuing a test paper. Upon receiving the said item, students were reported to have been impaled with arrows and swords in various parts of their bodies.
One survivor lived to give us valuable account. Ms G. Kuah says, "It all came to quickly. The swords of sample errors and unbiased estimators were flying toward us before we could take cover behind our formula sheets. There were screams everywhere."
Another eyewitness, Ms E. Yow, recalls, "You could hear the misery of the victims. Cries of 'I can't find s-square!! My R-square is more than 1! Not enough time!!' rang in the air. I will never forget this traumatic experience for the rest of my life."
Onlookers from afar described the aftermath in detail. Said a witness too distraught to tell us her name, "The post-test scene was too much to bear. One girl was in such an emotional mess that she could not stop laughing. People were talking about their half-blank papers, referring to their notes, discussing, chiding themselves.. One girl, gasping for breath, confronted the professor for his cruelty only to have him reply, 'But you were not supposed to get full marks for this paper anyway', of which she managed to choke, 'I didn't expect to get full marks. I just didn't expect to fail either,' and collapsed on the ground."
Relevant authorities are now hunting for the professor, who is currently still at large. Check this website again at regular intervals for the latest updates.

ECON107
Tomorrow, I will be sitting for my Applied Econometrics mid-term test that will make up 25% of my grade. I can't confidently say I'm well prepared for it, considering how much I really HATE anything remotely related to quantitative economics.. but I'd like to think that I've studied what i could.
I guess it's quite brave of me to be blogging now, notes and books and calculator already chucked into my school bag, ready to face tomorrow.
I hit a tough moment this afternoon when, while staring at some hypothesis testing page, I suddenly felt so stuck. So stuck studying something I don't see a future in. So stuck having to take this test when I'd very much rather do my politcial science readings. So I said to God, "Please pull me through this and not let me look back with regret. I've gotta make the best of my time here."
And so it is. Tomorrow I will sit for the test like a responsible economics undergraduate should. No matter the outcome, God still loves me hahahahahaha.

Descant
Will your anchor hold
In the storms of life?
When the clouds unfold
Their wings of strife?
When the strong tides lift
And the cables strain
Will your anchor drift,
Or firm remain?
We have an anchor
That keeps the soul
Steadfast and sure
While the billows roll
Fastened to the Rock
Which cannot move
Grounded firm and deep
In the Saviour's love
